New York - Part 4 (15 Dec 08)

Today's itenerary is to make my way to the famous Brooklyn Bridge connecting Manhanttan and Brooklyn, visit the Ground Zero (911 incident) and explore Century 21 - a store that sells very cheap branded stuff, probably one of the tourist traps in New York! Haha... hopefully, it does not burn a gigantic hole in my very shallow pocket! :P

Starting off from John's place at West Houston Street,
I came across this "multi-storey carpark". Now, this is what
happen when land is extremely expensive in the city!
Park fees, by the way, is not cheap!!!
I think it is around US$5 to 7 per hour! Oh my!!!

A close up view of the car park

Another close up view of the car park! I just love carparks! haha...

On my way, I happened to find St Paul's Chapel!
Can't help it, reaching for my camera phone,
I took a series of pictures for this magnificient looking Chapel!

Just click on the above for a brief history of the chapel.
Of course, for those who wants to know more about it,
just simply google it! Haha...

A distant view of the chapel from the gate.

Another distant view of the chapel from the gate.

A closer view of it.

Another close-up view.

Reached Ground Zero finally after walking close to 30 streets.
Gosh!!! I didn't know I'm so good and persistent in walking! Haha...

Another view of Ground Zero.
By the way, pictures were probably poorly taken due to
my lousy skill and the busy streets.

I will make it up by also attaching a few links here, for those
who are keen in the Ground Zero. Hee hee...

Near the Ground Zero, I finally spotted Century 21!
I was told this is a "must go"for all tourists in New York!
The store carries many branded stuffs with deeply slashed prices!!!
Just can't wait to go in!!! Haha...

Another view of Century 21 from the other side of the street.

Brooklyn Bridge in sight!!!! Haha...

I am now walking on the bridge, heading towards Brooklyn.

Views from the bridge.

Another view. Gosh... it is very scary taking pictures on the bridge.
The wind is so STRONG!!! Without any strap holding on to my camera phone,
I might need to add in another camera phone in my shopping list! Sob sob...

Another view.

More view from the bridge. Phone still intact... phew! :P

Last view... hee hee... and my phone is still with me.
I have strong grip! Hee hee...
Some Video Clips...

A short clip with me walking on the Brooklyn Bridge,
wind is very strong... hence the very noisy background!

I was at the middle of the bridge, struggling to keep my
camera still - it better not drop... or else...

Another view at the middle of the bridge.

A cute squirrel I found at the St Paul's Chapel. :)
